In August, CERES has (follow up) discussions with network organisations KVO, NVR, Soroptimists, ZLTO and Vrouwen van Nu to inform their members of the possibility to get 'CERES, the Movie' and the Toolkit for only 50 cents per participant.
This is a beautiful opportunity for all clubs to have a meaningfull discussion about a topic all women care about, FOOD!
CERES discussed a brilliant co-operation with Duurzame Agenda.nl. This Partner will design an Open Events Calendar specially for CERES, in which culture centres and libraries can include the events they are organising.
The events will also be included in the general Calendar of Duurzame Agenda.nl and will be distributed to the public.
We were present at the shoot of CERES, the Movie 'He Gezellig' in Restaurant Boschoord in Hollandse Rading.
We were very impressed by the professional manner in which the movie was produced and the outstanding acting performance of Sanne Wallis de Vries and Martine Sandifort.
But most of all we had a lot of fun!
We concluded a brilliant co-operation with VedraaidGoed! to design and produce CERES identifying marks.
VerdraaidGoed is a young company that designs products made from rest materials provided by second-hand stores (kringloopwinkels) and have these produced by sheltered workshops (sociale werkplaatsen).
CERES wishes to have women discuss the contents of the Movie and Toolkit with each other and thinks that this will be furthered if viewers buy a keyring for a small amount that they can wear where ever they go.
Half of April we began to ask people to become involved as an Ambassador, and thus become a member of our Ambassadors Team.It is heartwarming to see so many women took the plunge and reacted positively. Without anything being present to read or review (the website was not live yet and there is no movie
until October 2012), they gave us their trust.
Many thanks to our valuable Ambassadors Team!
The first meeting of the Advisory Board on 25 April was warm, informative, but above all very usefull for finetuning and sharpening the ideas and envisaged actions of CERES.
We discussed the outlines of the Movie to be produced by Human Factor TV and laughed together when brainstorming on additional ideas. The contents of the Toolkit was discussed and several actions were thought of to involve all women in The Netherlands in securing our global Food Security.
A huge thanks to this professional and passionate group of women!
